Cindy Lee GriffinAugust 21, 1963 - March 21, 2013Cindy Lee Griffin, 49, of Pocatello, ID, passed away on March 21, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born on August 21, 1963 to Bobby Ray and Margaret (Nichlos) Robinson in Pocatello, Idaho. She has lived in Pocatello and Bakersfield, California. She attended Pocatello High School and then graduated from the VA Hospital as a CNA. Cindy worked at the Idaho State Veterans Home for 20 years before health issues made her stop working. Cindy dedicated her life to loving and caring for the men and women who reside at the veteran's home. She loved people. She cared for everyone more then for herself. Cindy helped and tried to solve conflicts for everyone. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She especially loved her grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother and a wonderful entertainer.Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Bobby and a brother, Bobby Robinson; as well as step-father, Jim Morris. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Morris; two sisters, Margaret Kirby and Sherry Greeson; her husband Keith Griffin of Pocatello; children, Alicia Robinson of Clearfield, Utah, Alice (Leo) Yocum of Pocatello, James Ray Knight of Pocatello, Ashily Knight of Pocatello and a dear family friend Rikki McBride. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the Chapel of the Idaho State Veteran's Nursing Home, located at 1957 Alvin Ricken Dr. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave. Pocatello, Idaho (208) 233-0686.
