Christy Annette Camacho, 52, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, passed on August 24, 2023. Christy was born on January 19, 1971. She was a beloved daughter to her father J.B. Collins and her mother Annie Lee Record. She leaves behind a brother, Scott Collins and a sister, Marie Sampson. She leaves behind a son, Austin Collins and a daughter, Lauren Collins. She also leaves behind nieces, Heaven Collins, Kaylee Collins, and Liddy Sampson and a nephew Johnathan Collins.

Christy graduated from Shelbyville Central Highschool in 1989, and worked as a nurse in eldercare before attending cosmetology school. After obtaining her license, she went on to build a lucrative career in the beauty industry where she thrived and built lasting friendships.

Christy was a spiritual women who always looked to God and knew he was in her heart. She was funny, compassionate, and loving. She was someone who cared for people easily and forgave without an ounce of malice. She always looked for the best in everyone she knew and she believed that everyone had the capacity to be the best that they could be.

Her life wasn't perfect, but she did the best she could and she loved everyone along the way. She will be missed dearly by her friends and loved ones, who were not ready to see her leave.
