Christopher Kent KapposElkhartKent was born on October 3, 1962 to Christopher and Ida Kappos. He passed away on March 16, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.Kent grew up in Cambridge, Iowa and graduated from Ballard High School. Kent was a fanatic for Jeopardy and WWE Raw Wrestling.Most of all, he loved watching his great-niece and great-nephew play sports. He was always giving them tips on the sports they would play.Kent was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Cathy (Tim McCoy) Kappos Stowe and Connie Kappos; niece, Renee (Matt) Stowe Albaugh; great-niece, Sydney Christine Albaugh; and great-nephew, Cooper Dean Albaugh.A celebration of Kent's life will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017, at Ankeny Funeral Home, 1510 W. First Street, with visitation one hour prior.
