Christopher K. "Chris" HartmanZANESVILLE: Christopher K. "Chris" Hartman, 41, of Zanesville, died Sunday August 21, 2016. He was born on March 30, 1975 a son of Kelly and Rhea (Mills) Hartman who survive.Chris graduated from Maysville High School in 1993 and graduated from the Police Academy in 2003. He was a former Muskingum County Deputy. He loved working for the Sheriff's Office, but had to leave when he was diagnosed with P.T.S.D. Most recently he was employed at Zero Turn Lawn Care. He was also an avid Columbus Blue Jackets fan.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Pamela (Matthews) Hartman whom he married December 24, 2000. His sons Bryce Hartman and Nash Hartman. His daughters Hannah Hartman and Gabriella Hartman. His sister Jennifer Ross. His brother Joshua (Tori) Hartman. Sister-in-law Kelli Ross. Brother-in-law Bob (Amanda) Matthews. Mother-in-law and father-in-law Lynn and Bob Matthews. Grandmothers Ruth Hartman and Bonnie Mills. Grandmother-in-law Fern Gabriel. Nieces and nephews whom he loved to tease and who loved to tease him back, Drew Murrey and Jackson Ross; Maddie and Cam Ross; Weston, Landon, and Peyton Hartman; Evee and Sadee Matthews.He was preceded in death by a son Quinton Hartman, grandfathers Donald Hartman and Leo Mills, grandfather-in-law Merlin Gabriel, grandparents-in-law Bob and Ruth Matthews, brother-in-law Joseph K. Ross.Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday August 25, 2016 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday August 26, 2016 with Pastors Tim Patton, Chris Steele, and Dean Cole officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christopher K. Hartman memorial fund for his children's college education at any Century National Bank location.
