Christopher "Adam" ColeSwannanoa - Christopher "Adam" Cole, age 32, passed away on April 25th, 2017 in Swannanoa. He was born on August 30, 1984 in Buncombe County. He is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Cole. He was a member of Buckeye Baptist Church. Adam loved spending time with his children and other family members. He also loved fishing, football, Tar Heels basketball and the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by; his mother Rebecca Cole and step-father Walter Greene; his three sons, Joshua Adam Cole of Asheville, and Christian Jon Cole and Zachary Kaden Cole of Swannanoa; and his sister Christy McAlpine (William) of Waynesville. A service will be held at Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannanoa on Sunday, April 30 at 3:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior. Major Mark Satterly will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Penland Family Funeral Home to offset the funeral expenses.
