It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christina Marie Zaloga also known as Sunshine Rayne, 33. She was a loving daughter, a cherished niece, and a true inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She departed this world on July 2, 2023, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.

Christina was born on July 16, 1989, in Pennsylvania, a remarkable woman whose presence brightened the lives of those around her. She was a strong compassionate person and her absence will be deeply felt by her family and friends.

At the age of 13, Christina was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease, that causes inflammation and pain. Despite that, her spirit was carefree. She was a fighter and faced all the obstacles head-on. After 20 years, she lost her courageous battle against the disease.

She leaves behind her mother, Maryann Zaloga, Father, Joseph P. Zaloga Jr., Aunts, Anna Duvivier, Antionette Woerner, Diana Trievel, Sara Zimmerman, Uncle, Clayton Woerner, God Mother, Donna Weeden, along with countless cousins and her very dear friends Bree, Christian and Serena.

Christina loved all animals, especially her beloved cats, Pepper and Comet. She was a passionate artist and photographer. Her artistic expression through art, music, and photography, will always be a beautiful long-lasting memory for us all. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in the knowledge that Christina’s spirit will forever shine brightly in our memories. May she rest in eternal peace.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be put in her name to the Lupus Foundation of America, Philadelphia Tri-state Chapter, which would be appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park located at 1169 Limeklin Pike, Ambler PA 19002 on August 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM. We will meet at the office in the cemetery by 9:55 AM, to be escorted to Christina's final resting place.
