SIDNEY — Ching Po Li, M.D., 97, 2500 N. Kuther Road, Apt. 121, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at 9:07 p.m. at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
He was born on Nov. 11, 1918, in Jinan Province, China, the son of the late Tse Wen and Lo (Ching) Li.
On July 16, 1955, he married Agnes V. Victors, who preceded him in death on April 30, 2012.
He is survived by two sons, Phillip Allen (Susan) Li, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and John Albert (Sandy) Li, of Plain City, Ohio; two granchildren, Stephen Li and Kevin Li.
One brother and one grandson, Blake Li preceded him in death.
Dr. Li was a member of the A.M.A., the Ohio Medical Association and the American College of Radiology. He was a radiologist at Wilson Memorial hospital for 24 years. He was also as an associate professor in radiology at Wright State University Medical School. Dr. Li was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. at Amos Chapel, Dorothy Love, with Chaplain Larry Oberdorf officiating. Burial will be at Glen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the chapel.
