Charlie Saunders, beloved father, grandfather, and member of the Rockmart community, passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 73 in his hometown of Rockmart, Georgia. He was born on October 15, 1950 to Willie Saunders and Angie Smith.

Charlie was a loving and devoted father to his two children, Chuck Saunders and Doris Hines. He was also an doting grandfather to his seven grandchildren.

Charlie was a proud graduate of Rockmart High School, where he excelled academically and socially. He graduated in 1978 and went on to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. In which lead him to start his own business. He ran his business until he retired in 2019.

Charlie will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed spending time with the people he loved, Especially playing a good game of spades.

Charlie touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on through his loving family and the countless lives he impacted during his time on earth.
