Charlie A. Coleman was born to the late Charlie Coleman, Jr. and Carolyn Coleman Payton on September 16,1951 in Chicago, Illinois. The family moved to Jackson MS where Charlie attended Lanier Elementary School and graduated from Brinkley High School in Jackson MS. He attended Jones Community College in Newton, MS.
Charlie Coleman was employed with USDA-Forest Service Agency in Forest, MS until he became disabled.
Charlie accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Saint Mark Episcopal Church in Jackson, MS and later became a member of Truelight MB Church in Walnut Grove, MS.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Coleman Jr., Carolyn Coleman Payton and his step farther Sandy Earl Payton. Also preceding Charlie in death was a his son Michael A. Robinson of Jackson, MS.
Charlie was a caring and loving person that enjoyed spending time with his children, laughing and joking with family and friends. He also loved cooking and horseback riding when he was able.
Charlie leaves to cherish his memories; Annie Earl McClendon, she loved and cared for him dearly until his earthly departure on April 6th, 2023. Two (2) Sons Paul Robinson (Timeacha), San Antonio, TX. John Turner (Shanequa), Dallas, TX. Two (2) Daughters Katrina Peaches Woods of Dallas, TX and Shanta Ford of Forest, MS. He has two (2) brothers Jason (Stephanie) Coleman of Forest, MS. Bobby (Claire) Coleman of Gulfport, MS. One(1) sister Carolyn Lorraine Coleman of Jackson, MS. and special sister-in-law Jimmie Redmon of Chicago, IL; Ten grandchildren, one Great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
