Charles W. Shepardson 1942 - 2016Charles W. Shepardson, 74, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at his residence.Charlie was born on March 15, 1942 in Springfield the son of Paul and Alta Unthank Shepardson. He Married Barbara "Bobbi" Tuxhorn in October 1973 at South Fork Church in Rochester; she preceded him in death.He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1964 to 1967 during Vietnam. Charlie was a member of South Fork Church, Rochester American Legion Post 274, VFW Post 11463, Masonic Lodge 635, Eastern Star Lodge 743, Ansar Temples 32 Degree, Scottish Rite, Ansar Shrine Clown Unit, International Shrine Clown Unit Association, and Great Lake Shrine Clown Unit Association.Charlie was also preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mary Rossiter and Lucy Shepardson.He is survived by four nieces, Marlynn Rankin, Malissa McGlothlin, Melinda (Jerome) Klein and Margaret McGlothlin; eight great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Reverend Dustin Bramer officiating.
