Mr. Charles Vernon "Bucky" Foote, 79, passed away at his home on Nov. 29, 2016. Bucky was born on Sept. 1, 1937 to Arthur Colbert Foote and Helen Horst Foote in Baltimore, MD. He bravely served in the 82nd Airborne Div. of the U.S. Army. Bucky was a graduate of Poly Tech, Loyola College and earned a B.S. in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He later went to work for Western Electric/AT&T, retiring with over 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Irma Elizabeth Foote; and a brother, Arthur Foote. Surviving are his children, Greg Foote (Denise), Kathy Hayes, Tim Foote (Paulina), and Beth Myers (Tim); grandchildren, Nichole, Henry, Zachary, Dylan, Emma, Matthew, and Perin; as well as a brother, Raymond Foote of Savannah, GA. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Advent Moravian Church with Rev. Dr. Tim Sapp officiating.
