    Charles Osburn, beloved son of Sharon Osburn, passed away on September 25, 2025, in Lorain, Ohio. Born on March 15, 1981, he lived a life filled with laughter, love, and passion for video games, Star Wars, and Marvel.

    Charles had a knack for cracking jokes and bringing a smile to the faces of those around him. He was known for his impressive knowledge of all things sci-fi and fantasy, always ready to engage in spirited debates about the latest movies and games.

    Although he had no children of his own, Charles had a large extended family of friends who adored him. He is survived by many siblings Christopher (Charlene) McKinney, Paul (Amanda) Schaefer, Jamie Carver, Elizabeth Bullocks, Edward (Anna) McKinney, and Michael (Megan) McKinney, numerous nieces and nephews, and 3 great nephews. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty.

    Charles battled cancer with courage and grace, never losing his sense of humor or positive outlook on life. He faced his illness with bravery and strength, inspiring all who knew him.

    As we say goodbye to Charles, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the fond memories we shared with him. Rest in peace, dear friend. May the force be with you always.

    A private family service will be held on October 2nd 2025. A celebration of life will be held at Midway Baptist Church 41812 Griswold Rd., Elyria, Ohio at 1 p.m. for friends and extended family.
