Charles Jacob GossMr. Charles Jacob Goss, age 77, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on June 22, 2017 in Republic Nursing and Rehab, Republic, Missouri. He was born on October 4, 1939 in Mansfield, Missouri, the son of Jacob Dalton and Aleth Zelda (Cody) Goss.Charles graduated from the Mansfield High School, and served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Ozark Airlines for more than 20 years and ended his career at TWA. He enjoyed gardening and refinishing furniture. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Goss, and step son, Duane Cain. He is survived by a stepdaughter, Christy Jarvis; three step grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Davis; sister-in-law Claire Goss; other extended relatives and friends.A graveside service, with military honors, will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Springfield.
