Charles DeMailly III, 52, of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, passed Thursday, May 10, 2018. Charles was born to Charles F DeMailly II, and Judith R DeMailly, March 25, 1966, in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts.

Charles graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School in 1984. Charles worked as a Commercial Fisherman. He also volunteered at the St. Francis House in 2010-2018 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Chad as he was known by friends and family, touched so many lives just being available for the unfortunates and have-nots. Chad was always there when no one else would listen, Chad will be sorely missed. Chad struggled for many years with his sobriety, homelessness, depression, and anxiety, but now that Chad's earthly journey has ended, his heavenly journey can begin. We can take solace in the fact that his soul is now at peace in heaven joining all of the loved ones missed from days gone by. We love you and you will be missed, God called you home because you completed your divine purpose on earth. Thank you for being my best friend, a brother and my mentor. Goodbye, for now, friend sleep well, until we meet again I'll miss you every day.
