Charles Dewayne Hughes, "Lil Charles" of Whitney, Texas passed away on November 26, 2024, at 49. He was born on June 21, 1975, to Charles Thomas Neagle and Terri Sue Hughes.

The love of his life survives Charles, Cristi Bartley, and his five children, Daughter Sylissa T. Hebert (spouse Edwin Hebert, Jr.), Grandchildren Sophia Hebert, Landon Hebert, Bentley Hebert, Joslyn Wilson, Edwin Hebert ||| (EJ), and Ayden Hebert; Daughter Nikki L. Hughes (spouse Cody McCarty), Grandchildren Skylar Hughes, Henry McCarty, and Marilyn McCarty; Daughter Jessica R. Hughes (spouse Sirh'Keilan Manuel), Grandson Josiah Manuel, Daughter Camey B. Hughes (spouse Charles Munoz), and Son Chase T. Hughes—as well as his Siblings Brother Johnny Neagle, Sister Lorie Barrow, and Sister Kim Densman.

Proceeded by the Death, of His Grandmother Shirley Leary, Mother Terri Sue Hughes-Redman, and Aunt Belinda Taylor "Bo". Our hearts are warm knowing he is with them now.

Known for his love of the Dallas Cowboys and fishing, Charles was a jack of all trades, he brought laughter to all who knew him. His sense of humor and kind spirit will be dearly missed.

Charles passed away from End Stage Renal Disease, and other health issues he had been battling with for the past 4 years but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
