Charlene Blakney, the beloved matriarch of the Blakney family, passed away on February 13, 2025 in Allentown, Pennsylvania at the age of 72. She was born on June 12, 1952 to her parents Melvin and Beatrice Brown.

Charlene was known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind five children - Telisha, Twannia, Charlene, Chante, and Charmaine - who will forever cherish the memories of her infamous Sunday dinners and endless supply of love and advice.

Despite her passing, Charlene's spirit lives on in her ten grandchildren, who will always remember her fondly for her playful spirit and endless hugs and kisses.

Charlene was a proud alumni of John Jay High School, where she made lifelong friends and memories that she cherished until the end of her days.

While the world may be a little less bright without Charlene's infectious laughter, her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved parents and aunts and uncles, who surely welcomed her with open arms and a never-ending game of cards.

Rest in peace, dear Charlene. You will be forever missed and forever remembered for your love, your laughter, and your legendary potato salad.
