Catherine graduated from Yazoo County High School in 1955 and soon after she started her career at Yazoocity highschool for 32 plus years.

She was a loving, kind and sweet woman that cherished her family and friends and always had a smile on her face. 

Preceded in death by her parents (Herman and Elnora Haynes), Sisters (Diane Hudson, and Helena Haynes), and brother (Charles Whittle).

She leaves behind her son Anthony Mills, Grandchildren (Anthonise Mills , Anthonell Mills , and Kela Mills ). Her sister Alicia Lofton, her brothers Herman Lofton Jr, Marc Lofton and Clayton Lofton  and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
