Catherine Mary JacobsNaples, FLCatherine Mary (Leeney) Jacobs ("Kay"), 61, of Naples, FL, entered into eternal life on Monday, March 27, 2017, after being involved in a tragic vehicle accident. She was the dear wife of Daryl Jacobs, to whom she was married for nearly 16 years. Kay was born on March 8, 1956 in Iola, KS. She was the beloved daughter of Frederick and Lorene Leeney. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Madison High School, Madison NJ, Class of 1974. Kay moved to Florida in 1997 to be near her wonderful children, Linda and Michael. After working many years, she was blessed to have the opportunity to help care for her beautiful grandchildren, her greatest joy. Kay was very involved in her church and volunteered her time without hesitation. She was not just a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt, but a beautiful person inside and out. Her kind and gentle soul touched so many lives. She radiated a light that shined brightly to her family and friends. Kay loved family, pets, horses, cooking, country music and traveling. Kay will be forever remembered as a gracious, giving, humble, compassionate, warm hearted and loving person. Kay will be dearly missed by her husband Daryl, mother Lorene of Schnecksville, PA, sister Christine of Branchburg, NJ, brother Michael and fiancee Michelle of San Diego, CA, daughter Linda of Marco Island, FL, son Michael of Marco Island, FL, stepson Sean of Winter Haven, FL, stepdaughter Dawn of Lakeland, FL and 8 beautiful grandchildren, Michael, Madeline, Madison, Meredith, Alex, Jacob, Gavin, and Gabriel. She is preceded in death by her infant son Joey and the recent passing of her father Frederick. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday April 8, 2017 at Life Christian Church, 1048 Castello Drive, Naples, FL, 34103.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay's name to the Humane Society of Naples, 370 Airport Pulling Road North, Naples, FL 34104.
