Carolyn Rosalie Mills, 79Winchester - Carolyn Rosalie Mills, 79, passed away on April 2, 2017, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. She was born on October 9, 1937 to Annabelle and Cecil Riley in New Castle, IndianaRosalie was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1955. Rosalie married her high school sweetheart and had just celebrated 60 years of marriage on March 16, 2017. She worked at Overmyer Corporation, Junior Town children's clothing store, and Zicht's Greenhouse. She loved volunteering as a band mom for Winchester Community High School and served with the Women of the Winchester Moose Lodge for many years. She loved playing golf, knitting, and being with her grandsons.She is survived by her husband, Dan Mills; daughter, Sandy English; grandsons, Kyle and Nicholas English; sisters, Barbara Washington and Sheila Gilliland; Brothers, Larry and Jerry Riley; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Karen Sue Mills; and a sister, Judy Williams.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Walker Funeral Home, in Winchester, with Pastor Rob Butler officiating.
