We are saddened to announce the passing of Carole Richtmyer on March 16, 2025, at the age of 83 in Spring, Texas. Carole was born on November 5, 1941, to Fred and Frieda Schiffer in the United States.

In 1964, Carole married the love of her life, Allan Richtmyer, and together they raised two children, Jennifer Richtmyer (spouse Rodney Braxton) and Steven Richtmyer. Carole was also a proud grandmother to one grandchild.

Carole attended Cooley High School in Detroit, Michigan, and went on to graduate from Michigan State University. She worked as a Medical Technologist and was actively involved in the Bromeliad Society Houston organization.

Known for her infectious laughter and positive attitude, Carole brightened the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Carole passed away due to complications from ALS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association in her memory.
