Carol had a larger-than-life personality that lit up every room she entered. Her infectious laugh could brighten even the gloomiest of days, and her sense of humor was unmatched. Carol had an uncanny ability to find the silver lining in any situation, reminding us all to never take life too seriously.

As a Texarkana native, Carol embraced her Southern roots with pride. She adored all things Tex-Mex and had an impressive salsa collection that she proudly showcased at family gatherings. She is survived by her daughter Latoya Jackson and grand daughters, Jamaya Jackson, Lena Leggiton and Leonora Leggiton.
