Carl Finlay, age 71, of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, passed away on February 28, 2007. He was born on August 29, 1935, to Clive and Pearl (Arthur) Finlay.

Carl was married to Sylvia (Mendelson) Finlay in 1954 and together they had four children: Florence, Cynthia, Micheal, and Stanley. He was a devoted father and grandfather to their 10 grandchildren.

Carl attended Edina-Morningside Junior and Senior High School, graduating in 1953. He went on to further his education at Hamline University, graduating in 1958.

Carl worked as a Teacher at Wayzata High School, where he dedicated many years to shaping the minds of young students. He was passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of others.

Carl will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
