Carl Eugene MallerneeZANESVILLE: Carl Eugene Mallernee 61 of Zanesville, formerly of Cambridge passed away Monday March 30, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.He was born on March 3, 1954 in Zanesville the son of the late Charles Edward and Lillie Margary Wright Mallernee. He attended Cambridge High School and was a U.S. Army Viet Nam veteran; he enjoyed drag racing at National Trails Raceway from 2001 to present with friends and family.Carl will be sadly missed by those whose life he so deeply impacted, including his wife, Pamela Sue Dennis Mallernee; his sons, Dennis L. Mallernee and Chuck Edward Mallernee all of Zanesville; two sisters, Lois Goldberg of Dayton and Nancy (Miltos) Stefanitsis of Richmond Va.; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Dennis; cousins, Alan (Carol) Hanson of Colorado Springs Co., Lyle Kirkpatrick of Moorefield OH., Karen Becker of Akron OH and former brother-in-law Gerald Coganow of Zanesville.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Lynn Dennis; and his brother-in-law Jack Goldberg.Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-9pm on Wednesday April 1 at the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am on Thursday April 2, 2015 at the funeral home with Chaplin Steve Dunn (RFC) officiating.
