Carena Marie Horst; 71 also known as Nee Nee of Brandywine, Maryland, passed peacefully on April 7th, 2020. She was born in the District of Columbia on September 2nd, 1948. Nee Nee was preceded in death by her mother Lucille A Merritt and her granddaughter Noel Nicole Linkous. She is survived by her husband Paul Horst and three children; Bridget Stewart, her husband John Stewart, Joey James, his wife Robin James, Lee Johnson, and his wife Christina Burch. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren; Nika Barnech, and her husband Adolfo Barnech, her newest grandson Liam Johnson and 8 other grandchildren. Nee Nee loved her family and is truly missed by so many. Her personality was a bright light to many and as some may know, she NEVER held back. She loved to work; to be surrounded by people, and share her knowledge of gemstones and bragging about her kids.
