It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Cameron Busby, who was tragically taken from us on October 14, 2023, four days after his 20th birthday.
Born on October 10, 2003, in Jackson, Mississippi, Cameron brought laughter and joy to everyone he encountered throughout his life. He was a ray of sunshine, always brightening up the room with his infectious smile and mischievous sense of humor. He loved to make anyone he was around laugh and smile. He never met a stranger and had countless friends and "brothers". He loved with his whole heart and was always happy to help anyone who needed him.
Cameron was a loving son to his father, Clifton Wayne Busby (Michelle), and his mother, Tanya Evans Murray (Kip). He cherished their love and support, and their bond was truly unbreakable. Family meant the world to Cameron.
Although his life was cut short, Cameron found the love of his life in his fiance, Alie'e Baker. Together, they created beautiful memories. Their bond was filled with love and laughter.
Cameron was a hardworking young man who dedicated his time and energy to his job working Shut Downs and was a member of Harmony volunteer fire department, he was dedicated to helping others.
In his free time, Cameron loved exploring the outdoors, fishing, hunting, mud riding and just spending time with his family and friends. He was an adventurous soul who always found joy in the simplest of things.
It is heartbreaking that Cameron's life was ended too soon but the impact he had on those around him will forever resonate in their hearts and memories.
On October 14, 2023, Cameron's life was cut short due to a tragic accident. His loss will be felt deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Let us remember him for the joy he brought into our lives, his laughter that was contagious, and the love that radiated from his very being.
Cameron was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walter Cameron and Mary Jane Smith Evans. He was survived by his paternal grandparents Clarence Wayne and Lillian Busby, his parents, Clifton Wayne Busby and Michelle, and Tanya Evans Murray and Kip and his sister, Savanna Acreman.
