We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of California Gillispie, who was born on June 16, 2003, and tragically left this world on July 25, 2024. California resided in Decatur, Texas, United States, and was the beloved child of Michelle and Joe Gillispie. California did not have any children.

California attended Decatur High School where she studied diligently and graduated in 2022. She had a passion for singing and helping others, always dreaming of becoming a nurse to care for those in need.

Unfortunately, California's life was cut short due to an accidental drug overdose. Despite this tragic ending, we will always remember her kindness, compassion, and the love she shared with those around her.

May California Gillispie rest in peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
