Burns "BB" BrabhamYorkBurns "BB" Brabham, 71, tragically passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, in Annapolis, Md. He was the oldest and loving son of Magealene (Carter) Brabham and the late Hollon Brabham, Jr. Burns was born on July 27, 1944, in Olar, S.C. and was affectionately known as "BB"."BB" was educated through the York City School District. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoyed cooking, drawing and taking walks. During his years of employment, he worked at San Carlos, Roosevelt Tavern and York Country Club.In addition to his supportive and caring mother, "BB" leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Linda Hall (Ralph) of Virginia Beach, Va., Lance Sease, Sr. (Kimberly), Burns Brabham, Holland Brabham, Bernadean McArthur and Tonya Larry, all of York; four brothers, Ernest Brabham (Michelle), Earl Brabham, Robert Brabham (Kimberly), all of York, and Herbert Brabham (Gloria) of Lansdowne; four sisters, Onether Adams, Delores Brabham and Melody Brabham, all of York, and Geneva Parker of Ridgefield, S.C.; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren;, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends.BB was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Hollon, Sr. and Onether (McMichael) Brabham; his maternal grandparents, Burn and Hazel (Orr) Carter; a brother, Joseph Brabham; a son, Matthew Kinard; grandchildren, Lance Sease, Jr. and Jacqua Larry.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Fairview FGMB Church, 465 S. Pine St., York PA 17401, with Pastor Leighton McMillan giving the Eulogy and Pastor Ronald Banks officiating. An hour of visitation will be prior from 10 to 11 a.m.Boulding Mortuary Inc. is handling arrangements.
