Wirsbinski, Buddy R.God took Bud R. Wirsbinski, age 78, home after a short and courageous battle with malignant melanoma on Thursday, March 23, 207 at his home in Fremont. He was born on December 7, 1938, in Mosinee, the son of the late John and Gladys(Bemis) Wirsbinski. Bud served his country in the US Marines, and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. On October 11, 1958, Bud married RoseMarie Lewandowski in Knowlton, WI. Bud worked as a project manager for Oscar Boldt Construction for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and golf, boat riding, and corvettes. Bud is survived by his wife of 58 years, RoseMarie; four daughter, Laurie(Peter)Wichman, Caryn Baker, Joan (Tom) Waitrovich and Gayle (Yong) Kwon; eight grandchildren, Richard (Hannah) Wirsbinski, David (Stacie) Ehlke, Donald (Amy) Wichman, Josh Waitrovich, Hannah (Matt) Schuchhardt, Laura (Chuck) Kwon, Becca Kwon and Joey Waitrovich; nine great-grandchildren, Kenna, Ben, Braxton, Braedyn, Brooklyn, Talia, Clara, Caleb and Mack; a brother, James (Marge) Wirsbinski and a sister, Diane Parson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, April Wichman. A memorial service followed by military rites will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 3PM at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Rev. Russell Leach will officiate. Visitation will be held at Highland, on Monday from 1:30PM until the time of service. Bud's family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dave at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for all of his help while he was receiving treatment, and to the Winchester Larsen Lions Club for their kindness during this time. Dear Dad. Your daughters want you to know that you were loved beyond the word itself. The best dad, grandpa, and great grandpa on earth. Your kind heart, generosity, and love for us was never questioned. If we can live to be just half the person you were, we will have succeeded.Love, Your Girls
