Bridgette Ann Sturgeon passed away October 27, 2016 at Rideout Hospital with her family at her side. She was born on June 22, 1961 in Castro Valley, CA and graduated from People's High School in Vallejo, CA in 1980. While growing up, she was active in the P.A.L. program. She was also one of the first girls to join in Soap Box Derby Racing. She worked on base at Mare Island Naval Shipyard as a receptionist for the Logistics Department. She moved to Yuba City in 1990. She loved to go camping and was active in Horse Club down in Vacaville, CA. She joined W.O. T.M. in 1982. Bridgette became active in the Moose in Yuba City and became Jr. Regent in 2016. She worked at the Beale Air Force Base for the last 6 years as a receptionist at the dental clinic. She was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Sturgeon. Bridgette is survived by father Don Sturgeon, sister Sue McDonald, brother Frank Sturgeon, niece Jessica McDonald and nephew Rodney Cherry. She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, December 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutter Cemetery with Pastor Jim Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.Send Condolences to
