It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bridgett Lhenna Poole, 49, on February 25, 2025 in Ruston, Louisiana. She was born on December 5, 1975 to parents James Steven Lingo Jr. and Gigi Annabell Austin.

To know Bridgett, was to love Bridgett. She loved her family, friends and all sorts of animals. She never missed a day video chatting with her sister/brothers. She never met a stranger, loved taking care of people, making them laugh, and bringing them outside of their comfort zone. In her free time, she loved cooking delicious meals, baking sweet treats, and rescuing animals. She had a kind and compassionate heart that touched the lives of many.

She was a nurse at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, for several years. At work, most of her coworkers became extended family who she adored. She loved her job and helping those in need.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard A. Kesl and Bambi Lhenna Kesl; paternal grandparents, Betsy Lynn Haynes and James Steven Lingo Sr.

Bridgett is survived by her loving spouse Edward Wayne Poole Sr.; sons, Edward Wayne Poole Jr., and Kayden Ryan Poole; sister and best friend Stacy Rhenna Tackett; brothers, Samual Kayden Austin (Lisa), Kieth Ryan Austin (Allie), several nieces and nephew's, extended family, friends, and all her beloved animals.

Funeral services for Bridgett Lhenna Poole of Ruston, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May, 6, 2025, at Temple Baptist Church Chapel in Ruston.

Officiating the service will be Rev. Donnie Knox. Interment will follow in the Vienna Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston

A visitation for friends and family will be held 4 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston.

May Bridgett Poole rest in peace and her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
