We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of Brian Johnston, a man whose life was as colorful as his wardrobe. Brian was born on March 3, 1958 in Long Beach, California, and from that day on, he left a mark on everyone he met.
Brian had a zest for life that was unmatched. Whether he was skydiving on his 50th birthday or attempting to break the world record for most hot dogs eaten in one sitting, Brian lived life to the fullest.
One of Brian's greatest accomplishments was raising his three children, Brianna, Piper, and Tyler. He taught them everything from how to change a tire to the importance of always having a good joke up your sleeve.
When Brian wasn't spending time with his children, he was serving his country in the Army. He was a proud patriot who always put his country first, even if it meant sacrificing his beloved collection of Hawaiian shirts.
On February 1, 2025, Brian passed away from a heart attack. Some may say he went out with a bang, but we like to think he went out with a belly laugh and a Hawaiian shirt on. Brian will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially by the local hot dog vendors.
You can to the family or in memory of Brian Johnston.
