Breon Ta'Rai Whitehead, 43, passed away on July 4, 2017 in El Paso, Texas. He was born on March 16, 1974 to the union of John and Bobbie Whitehead. He attended the Alamogordo Public Schools, where in high school he was on the varsity basketball team and came to love the sport very much. His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Breon was full of life and loved to travel. He was a journeyman grade plumber where he worked with his father who owns and operates J.W. Plumbing. Breon also worked at the King's Treasure Thrift Shop where he was well liked by his co-workers and owners of the shop. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, John and Bobbie; six children, Ta'Rai, Landyn, Tyrese, Jalen, Jada and Nicholas; four brothers, Eric, Darin (Debi), Brian and Jefrei. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Breon leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home Chapel.The funeral service for Breon Whitehead will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday July 13, 2017 at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.Pallbearers include Chris Colmenero, George Myles, Eric Weaver, Darin Weaver, Brian Weaver and Fefrei Whitehead. Honorary pallbearers are Gerren Carter, Duriel Martin, Larry Myles, Chris Pino and Michael Whitmire.
