LAURINBURG — Brenda Lee Ward, 56, passed away on Sept. 13, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by the Rev. Richard Tyson. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Brenda was born on July 9, 1959 in Janesville, Wisconsin, the loving daughter of Donna Mullen Ward and the late Harvey E. Ward. She worked in customer service with Scotland Salvage. She enjoyed reading, sewing and truly loved time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

A brother, Eric Daniel Ward preceded her in death.

Brenda is survived by her husband Mitchell Locklear, her sons John Priest (Nicole) and Danny Priest, daughter Laura Martin (Mark) all of Laurinburg, her mother Donna M. Ward, her brothers Dennis Ward and Patrick Ward all of Laurinburg, sisters Colleen Bennett (James) of Laurinburg, Mary Paolozzi (Chuck) of Lakeland, Florida,and Shelia Pate (Roger) of Laurinburg, nine grandchildren, and a host of family and special friends,

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Friday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
