On January 14, 2026, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Brenda Hicks of Dermott, Arkansas. Born on June 27, 1948, Brenda brought joy to all who knew her.

Brenda was the daughter of Cliff Hicks and Louise Perser. She married her beloved husband, Lester Spears. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Misty Smith (spouse Maurvis Smith), DeWayne Spears (spouse Cindy Spears), and Jeff Spears (spouse Marie Spears).

Brenda was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

Brenda dedicated many years of her life to her work at Gimen Real Estate before retiring in 2020. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones.

Brenda passed away peacefully in her sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
