Braxton Creig Parker Jr.CIRCLEVILLE: Braxton Creig Parker Jr., 73, of Circleville passed away on November 4, 2017. He was born on November 2, 1944 in Columbus to Braxton and Della (Skaggs) Parker Sr. Braxton was a Navy sea bee Vietnam Veteran and a 1962 graduate of London High School and Franklin University. He was a civil engineer for Turner Construction and a licensed land surveyor, formerly was a deacon at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Grove City, involved in Census Board and the RNC, enjoyed collecting and selling antiques and was a numismatist (coin and currency collector). He was preceded in death by his father Braxton Parker Sr.and by mother and step father Della and Jim Blaine. Braxton is survived by his wife Stephanie (Rice) Parker, children Kristen Weinhart, Tim and Frank Parker, step children Brian (Amy Epperson) Detty, Melanie (Todd) Hardman, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Rev. Dean Queen officiating. Cremation will be observed. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to , PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
