Boyd William CurtisMay 09, 1936 - July 23, 2017VisaliaBoyd William Curtis was born on May 9, 1936 in Oakley, California to Marvin Curtis and Aileen Pitts-Curtis. At the age of twenty he married the love of his life Vivian Noles-Curtis and was married to her still at the time of his passing on July 23, 2017 in Visalia, California. Boyd and Vivian had three children together, Randy B. Curtis, Tanya L. Castro and their son who preceded Boyd in death, Michael "Craig" Curtis. Boyd worked as a mechanic for many years, had a gardening business and was also a maintenance man. He was always a hard worker, right up until his health declined and he was no longer able to work at the age of 74. Boyd called Visalia his home for 52 years and had many friends, it was rare that he went anywhere in Visalia that he didn't know several people at every stop. Boyd is survived by his wife Vivian Curtis, son Randy Curtis and daughter in law Yvonne Curtis, daughter Tanya Castro and son in law Joel Castro, four grandchildren Crystal Valdez, Brandon Curtis, Landi Paul, Nichole De La Cerda, and four great-grandchildren, Gavin Valdez, Gracyn Valdez, Sophie Paul and James De La Cerda. Graveside services will be held on Monday July 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia.Tributes and condolences may be made at www.millerchapel.com.
