Bonnie Jean Jackson, 78, of Highland, California, passed on March 06, 2023. Bonnie Jean was born on
October 06, 1944 In West Helena, Arkansas to parents Roy U. Doby and Christella Hughes. After Bonnie graduated from
Eliza Miller High School in 1963. Bonnie then moved to California with her parents. She then started Her first Job at
San Bernardino Community hospital as a Surgical technician. She was employed with San Bernardino Community hospital for
42 years. Bonnie went on to marry Don Lewis Jackson in 1967. Bonnie had four children. Cleveland, Christopher, Demetrius and Jamaal.
Bonnie always enjoyed life. She loved spending time with family , working her garden, planting flowers and enjoying animals.
She also loved to crochet. She was a avid collector of art and antiques. She also spent time enjoying horses at the races and Bingo at the casino.
Bonnie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grand mother and great grandmother. She was the life of the party making sure you laughed and lighting the mood was her specialty. She always said relax it doesn't have to be perfect. She was know as the quiet wise one that was full of knowledge.
Bonnie was preceded by Don Lewis Jackson(spouse) Roy U. Doby(father), Christella Hughes(mother),Leon Bass(cousin), Nettie Bass Jackson (cousin), Asher Matalon (grandson) Rhonda Hughes,(sister in law) She is survived by 4 sons, Cleveland Harrell Jr, Christopher R Lamar, Demetrius Lamar, Jamaal L. Jackson, 2 Sisters Betty Angel, Mary Hughes, 3 Brothers Fred Hughes, Virgil Hughes, Tommy Hughes 2 cousins Ruby Bass-Thornton, Lond Bass Jr, 3 2nd cousins Sandra Pitts, Pamela Thornton, Michael Meeks,3 nieces Vanesha Arberry, Tyesha Hughes, Mihesha Hughes Kurtis and Kayden Family of Vanesha, Marcus Harris Jr. son of Mihesha 3 Daughters in Laws DeAngela Harrell, Maria Lamar, Feng "Rita" Lin- Jackson 10 Grandchildren China Harrell, Robert Harrell, Megan Matalon, Cleveland Harrell III, Juanitha Lamar, Theodeore Loeckle, Sophie Lamar, Chloe Lamar, Exavier Jackson, Mathias "Zun-Li" Jackson, 4 Great grand children Thierry, Callum and Kennedy Matalon.
