We seek comfort, let us find it in the Scriptures.

"For I am already being offered, and in the time of my departure is come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing" (2 Timothy 4:6-8).

We are here today to celebrate the home going of our beloved father. He will be sadly missed by us all. Bobby Doc Harris, 87, of Lakeland, Florida, passed on February 06, 2022. Bobby was born on March 01, 1934 in Ashburn, Georgia to Rev. Herbert Harris and Ellen Merriweather. He leaves behind 5 siblings: Mr. Elijah Harris of Lakeland, Florida, Mr. George Harris of New York City, Mrs. Maryelln Bowers-Perryman of College Station, Texas and Ms. Linda Harris of Atlanta, Georgia. The siblings that preceded him in death are Mr. Herbert Harris, Jr., Mrs. Evelena Fulmore, Mrs. Eloise Foster, Mrs. Annie Jean Harris-Noel, Ms. Betty Harris, Mr. Billy Harris and Mr. John Harris. His children are Leroy Harris, Laverne Harris, Veronica Thomas, Bobby Doc Harris, Jr., Herbert Harris, Barbara Harris-Bryant, Derek Harris, Robert Harris and Tina Harris. His legacy continues with many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many cousins, neices, nephews, and family members who have and will always remember his loving kindness.

He will be forever remembered by us as being our strong, kind and lovable father. He may be gone in our hearts but he is never gone from our heart. We love you Daddy!
