Bobbie Louise Windle, 63, of Kingwood, TX was called to her heavenly home on September 24, 2014. She was born on September 29, 1950 in Lubbock, TX to parents Robert D. and Mary L. Birdsong. Bobbie was married to her loving husband of 40 years, Stephen M. Windle. She served faithfully as a wife, mother, and homemaker for their daughters and niece. Bobbie leaves an extraordinary legacy of love, guided by her abiding faith in God. She lived her life with grace, joy, kindness and generosity. Bobbie is survived by her spouse, Stephen M. Windle, and their children; her eldest daughter, Stephanie Champion and husband Steve Champion Jr; daughter Jennifer Calvin and husband Nathan Calvin; daughter Rebecca Windle; niece/4th daughter, Diana Birdsong; step son Steve Barnett and wife Leah Barnett; and 7 grand-children in all.
Visitation was held at Darst Funeral Home on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services was held at Kingwood United Methodist Church 1799 Woodland Hills Dr. Kingwood, Texas 77339 on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1 pm.
