Blake L. HallSeptember 20, 1940 - July 13, 2017TulareBlake Hall, 76, passed away in his home surrounded by members of his family on July 13 2017. Blake was born on September 20, 1940 in Davenport, WA. His parents were George and Hazel Robinson. He graduated from Creston High School and served in the U.S. Army with deployment in Germany. Blake was an expert rifleman, champion pistol marksman and lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Blake Hall served as a
firefighter in the City of Spokane Fire Department for 28 years. He also was a dedicated beef cattle rancher near Davenport, WA where his ranch was honored as a Century Farm. He was President of the Lincoln County Cattleman's Association, member of the Washington State Grange, earning all seven degrees, member of the Davenport Gun Club and instructor for the Junior Shooters. He was a member of the FFA Boosters, the Tulare Amvets and the Spokane American Legion. In his retirement in Tulare, CA Blake was a regular at Salle's Café. In 1965, Blake married Patricia Silvernail. Blake and Pat moved from Davenport in 2003 to a country home near Tulare, CA.Pat survives Blake along with their daughter and son-in-law Kathryn and Gary Schulz. Blake is also survived by five grandchildren and their respective families; Geoffrey Schulz, Kevin Schulz, Stephanie Schulz, Justin Schulz and George Ramirez. Blake and Pat have one great-granddaughter, Sophie.Family and friends may view Blake Hall at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, 132 W. Kern Ave., on Thursday, July 20, 2017. There will be a Memorial Service in Peers Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 followed by a reception at Salle's Café in Tulare at 2:00 p.m.Mr. Hall will be buried in Davenport, WA at a Graveside Service at the Mountain View Cemetery, Mt.
