Billy Joe Helton, 58, passed on October 03, 2020. He was born to Bobby Joe Helton and Peggy Ann Barker in Detroit, Michigan on October 12, 1961.

He is survived by his 5 children, Jerry Helton, Melissa Munroe (Jason Munroe), Sarah Helton, Joshua Helton , and Rebecca Helton. He is also survived by five grandchildren, his great-grandson, his mother, sister, two brothers, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as his three beloved dogs Bambi, Scrappy, and Scooby.

Billy was a proud Army veteran and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked at Ryder Transport as a truck driver until he retired in 2001 due to medical complications with multiple sclerosis.

To know him was to love him. He was compassionate, a loyal friend, loved animals, had an awesome sense of humor, and tried to help others any way that he could. He will be greatly missed by everyone he met.
