Billy Jean Eades Wilson, died early Wednesday morning, Dec. 14, 2016. Service: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Friday, St. Ann Catholic Church of Burleson. Interment: Mount Olivet. Rosary: 5 p.m. Thursday with visitation to follow until 7 p.m. at Thompson Harveson and Cole. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please have a mass said in her name. Billy Jean Eades was born on Dec. 26, 1927, in Tulsa, Okla., to William Oliver and Eugenia Marie Menten Eades. She was a 1946 graduate of Paschal H.S. and earned a B.A. in Spanish and Art from T.C.U. Billy and Tommy Wilson married on Aug. 30, 1947. They were founding members of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church where she was an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. Billy was also a substitute teacher of P.E. at Holy Name Catholic School and a Cub Scout Den Mother. After Tommy retired, they enjoyed travelling, making special trips to New Zealand and Ireland. Above all, Billy was all about her family and especially her grandchildren who called her "Grandmama". She was a voracious reader, and loved crossword games and solving puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Thomas M. Wilson and their son, Thomas Michael Wilson. Survivors: Her children, James Wilson and wife, Barbara, Patty Boston and husband, David, William Wilson and wife, Marlo, Robert Wilson and wife, Emily, Beth McLean and husband, Patrick, and daughter-in-law, M.G. Wilson; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brother, James Eades and wife, Susan.
