Billy Darrell GoffPORT CLINTON: Billy Darrell Goff, 90, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 06, 2017 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, OH. Billy was born on December 01, 1926 in Carbondale, OH, the son of Elpha and Elizabeth S. (Johnston) Goff. On June 12, 1974 in Texas he married Elia Garza and she preceded him in death on April 13, 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving as a Seaman First Class, Gunner's Mate during WWII. Billy worked as a supervisor for the U.S. Gypsum Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1982. He was a life member of the
V.F.W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480. Billy enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking and riding his scooter all over town. But he especially loved spending time with his family. Billy will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.Those left to cherish his memory are: Sons: Darrel Goff and Gary (Patricia) Goff; Step-Children: Saul (Rosie) Castillo, Armando (Nancy) Castillo, Mary Louise (Jack) Steele, Dolly (Joe) Gallardo, Rachel Barboza, Shirley Castillo, Eva Castillo and Debbie (Sam) Conte; Step-Daughter-In-Law: Janie Castillo; 2 Grandchildren: Tina (Brian) Hurless and Adam (Jenny) Goff, 3 Great Grandchildren: Wyatt, Hailey, and Meredith; 24 Step-Grandchildren, many Step-Great-Grandchildren, and several step great great grandchildren. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Arlene Rickner, brothers: Harvey & Howard Goff, sisters: Lena Parmitter, Lorraine Demshok, Irene Danner & Ada Comella, step-son: Jesse Castillo, and grandson: Jason Goff.Vistation for Billy will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 at the funeral home with additional visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in LaCarpe Cemetery, Lacarne, OH, with a Military Graveside service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the , P.O.
