Billie Allene KnoxCEDAR PARK, TXBillie Allene Knox, 86, passed away on October 28, 2017. She was born on August 4, 1931, in Pioneer, Texas, to parents William Hicks Bryson and Iva Lea (Watson) Bryson.Billie grew up with two sisters and a brother. She attended school Oplin. She married JT Knox in Buffalo Gap in 1948. Billie and JT had two sons, Lowell and Larry. After 13 years of marriage, JT passed away. Billie then married Leonard Knox (JT's older brother) in El Paso, Texas, in 1962. She gave birth to a third son, Leonard (Lee). Leonard and Billie were married for 15 years. Leonard passed away in 1977 and Billie never remarried. She moved from El Paso back to Abilene in 1981, then on to San Antonio, Elmendorf, La Vernia, and finally Cedar Park, Texas. Mom loved to bake and was well known for her scrumptious coconut cream pies, decadent rum cakes, and Wiennie soup. In her last years she enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the chicken TV, gardening, taking car trips, and eating out as often as she could. She never lost her incredible smile and the ability to make others smile with her.She is survived by her sons, Lowell Eugene and Carol Knox, Larry Doyle and Debra Knox, Leonard Lee and Jennifer Knox; sister, Sue Dell Bryson; grandchildren, Trent Alan Knox and Janice Knox, Stacee Marie (Knox) Renfro and Jimmy Renfro, Jeremy Len Knox, Molly Jayne Knox, Charles Knox, and Becky Knox; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Leigh Knox.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bryson and Iva Leigh (Watson) Bryson; spouses, JT Knox and Leonard Knox; and siblings, Daniel Gabe Bryson and Collene June Miller.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's research.
