Bill Sands of London, KY passed away on March 22nd, 2023, at the age of 76. He passed peacefully at home with his wife.

Bill was the son of William and Irene Sands. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Sands and Ernie Sands and his sister, Mary Anne Becks. He was a hunter and enjoyed spending his days with his wife watching the news and the North Carolina Tarheels. Anyone that had ever met Bill said he was the nicest person they ever met.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Sands, his 4 children Elizabeth Sands, Carol Lloyd, Teresa McFarland, and Rebecca Leebar. As well as his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Bill had a wonderful life and has finally gone home to be with the Lord.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at London Funeral Home with Burial directly after at 1:00 pm at McKee Cemetary. Visitation will be Friday, March 24th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
