Beverly Odom85, of Francesville, IN passed away at 2:38 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello, IN.She was born on May 15, 1931 in Monon, IN to the late William and Mabel Ren Long. Beverly graduated from Francesville High School. On May 29, 1949 at Monon Chapel Church, Beverly married Max Odom.Beverly was the proud and loving mother of four children, three of whom survive, Gregory (wife: Christine) Odom; William (wife: Shereen) Odom; and Leesa (husband: Michael) Gayer. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren as well as her brother, Bill Long.She was sadly preceded in death by her infant son, Kevin Max Odom; an infant granddaughter, Autumn Dawn Skalon; and her siblings, Mary Pratt, Perry Long, Dorothy Westerhouse and Ruth Erb.Beverly was baptised at the Monon Chapel Church and had formerly attended the Independence Methodist Church at Gillam Township and the Francesville Methodist Church. She was a member of the Francesville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, reading, playing cards, and doing puzzle books.Beverly was a proud homemaker - a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister - who will be dearly missed.Beverly's wishes were to be cremated and for her family to gather for a private family burial.
