We are so sorry to hear this. Gene and I have so many memories of her working at the nursery and she always had a honey do list for Gene every time he worked with her. She was one Great Friend and will be Greatly missed. Prayers sent for the family for God to wrap his arms around all of You and give you the kind of comfort that only HE can give. A life well lived
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beverly Holliday-Defee, who peacefully left this world on February 28, 2025, in Tallassee, Alabama.
Beverly was born on November 9, 1937, to her loving parents, Yeargan and Emmie Hull, in Autaugaville, Alabama. She was a beloved partner to the late Colman Holliday and the late Floyd Defee. Beverly was a devoted mother to her three children, late Debra Hudson (Jerrell), Kathy Cleckler, and Denise Cobb (Danny). She was a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren, Jay Hudson, Christy Logan(Jeremy), Brandon Cobb(Holly), and Traci Curlee(Mike). She also has twelve great grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her sisters, Bobbie Pedigo, Doris Little, Pat Henderson, and Faye Green.
Beverly will always be remembered for her kind heart, selfless nature, and unwavering love for her family. She was a pillar of strength and support for all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Rest in peace, Beverly Holliday-Defee. You will be forever loved and never forgotten.
