Betty Weiler age 74, formerly of DeMotte, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at George Ade Home, Goodland, Ind. She was born on Nov. 2, 1936 in Davisburg, KY to Josh and Dallie Mae (Gray) Sowder, both deceased. Betty was a homemaker. On July 3, 1954 she married Brice Weiler, who passed away Jan. 13, 1998. Betty is survived by her loving children, Patricia (Ray) Miranda, Kissimmee, FLA and James Weiler, Remington, INSeveral grandchildrenBrothers, Carl (Ann) Sowder, Tazewell, TN and Homer "Pete" (Jeannette) Sowder, Citra, Fla. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Mary Francis Patrick and brother James H. Sowder. Friends may call on Monday May 9, 2011 from 10 a.m. to Noon with a Funeral Service at Noon at Jackson Funeral Service, DeMotte, Ind. with Pastor James Gambill officiating.
