Born on June 7, 1936, in Bethlehem, Bert was the cherished son of Johnny and Betty Ansley. He grew up in a loving household, surrounded by a close-knit family that instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion.
After graduating from Winder Barrow High School, Bert embarked on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. He was a diligent student and earned accolades for his commitment to academics.
Soon after completing his education, Bert found his calling as a mechanic.
