It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernie Wilkins, born on December 12, 1966 in Paterson, New Jersey, to parents Bennie and Barbara Wilkins. Bernie passed away on May 14, 2024 in Paterson, New Jersey.

Bernie is survived by his loving spouse Tasha Wilkins, whom he married in 2007. Bernie and Tasha were blessed with 6 children: Tyree, Dominique, Janeyia, Jacqueline, Daraye, and Dekyri. He was also a proud grandparent to 6 grandchildren.

Bernie was a dedicated employee at NJ Transit for many years. He studied at Kennedy High School, where he excelled academically and formed lasting friendships. Bernie's warm personality, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
